My husband and I were looking for an addition to our Boxer family. After having a bad experience with another breeder I came across Winn Creek on the internet. I contacted Kim with a bunch of questions; she immediately made me feel at ease despite my previous encounter with the other breeder. I told her what I was looking for, that I wanted to bring a third baby into the family in hopes that the puppy would take on the temperament and habits of my male who is awesome. "Alexander" now called "Cramer", was the last one left (as was my male Baxter), and he was exactly what I was looking for. I told Kim that I wanted him and away we went! Cramer has been a great addition to the family and has grown into a big, loveable 80 pound boy. I have to say, the best was saved for last….twice! I would recommend Winn Creek to anyone that asks!

I got my 2 year old Boxer from Kim Haynes and his name is now Ozzy. I bought him in October of 2008. He is Fawn with a black/white mask and one of the most beautiful males I have seen! His temperament is wonderful! He is loving and loves to give love, he is energetic and loves to play, he is also well behaved and learns commands quickly! I loved buying from Winn Creek Boxers because Kim was a very professional breeder. What I liked the most was that when you bought the dog you signed a contract saying if you couldn't take care of your dog she will take back the dog and find them another home. She is also very organized I would most definitely buy another Boxer from her kennel again!

We named Balsam "Reesie". After thinking of and researching all sorts of powerful names, we went with Reesie because she looks like the color of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup...too funny! Anyway, we LOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVE her so much! She is the BEST dog ever! She is so loving and so tolerant of the kids...especially Ramzi, our 6 year old, who is about the same size as Reesie, and loves to wrestle with her. She has never once gotten too rough with him, or even responded in a way that would worry us. She is as gentle as a lamb with the kids. She thinks that she weighs 5 pounds, and loves to sit in our laps and lay on the kid's heads if they are laying on the floor with her...she always has to be touching you. We never took her to obedience classes, but she is as smart as a whip! She isn't a barker either...thank goodness! She never barks just to be barking. Even if she hears a noise, or sees a stranger at the door, she will just stand up and make muffled noises under her breath to let us know that she is unsure of something, and then once she knows it's all good, the tail goes to wagging! Sorry, don't mean to go on and on, but I truly love this dog like no other!!!

Brutis (Bat Cave) will turn one year old on Sept. 24th 2010. Our male Boxer Sergeant Major Buck sired Brutis. Kim, being the veteran breeder, knew just what to do but it didn't take Buck long to figure out his part. When it was time to pick our puppy, Kim was very happy to give us time to look over each one. I picked up Brutis and he immediately started kissing my ear and neck. I feel in love with him immediately. He still to this day is a kisser and lover & he still thinks he is a lap dog. Brutis has been great with our 3-year-old granddaughter and all the neighbors & their grandchildren. They love to come by to say hello to "the boys" as they are called in the neighborhood. Brutis is a beautiful, healthy Boxer. His markings are just what we expected and his temperament is typically Boxer-- loving, smart, curious and playful. I would highly recommend Kim & Winn Creek Boxers to anyone looking at buying a beautiful Boxer puppy.

In October of 2009 we lost our beloved Gilda, a 7-year-old Boxer, to a sudden heart attack and to say the least we were devastated. My wife and I decided that we would get another dog and specifically another Boxer, as we truly believe that they are the best breed, hands down. We also decided that we would wait until spring or possibly summer but only 5 weeks had passed when one day at work during lunch I did a Goggle search for Boxer breeders. I searched in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina and looked at several. When I looked at Winn Creek and saw the pictures of Bolivia I called Kim and we spoke. I came home and showed my wife the web site and called Kim back. We had a house full of company that were leaving the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving and I asked Kim to hold her until I could get down there that afternoon once the company left. It was the best 3-hour drive I have ever taken. We named her "Sookie" and she is a wonderful addition to our family and has certainly filled the void we had felt. I would not hesitate to purchase another puppy from Kim as she truly loves her dogs and it shows in this puppy and I am sure of all of her puppies.

We picked up our puppy from Winn Creek Boxers last Thanksgiving and he has been a joy ever since. Boomer is an excellent example of his breed, both in his physical appearance and his personality. He's affectionate, energetic, playful, loyal and a graceful athlete who loves to go on hikes with us, run and swim. He's also been quite easy to train and always is eager to please. Kim Haynes raises all of her puppies in her home and as a result they are completely socialized and comfortable around humans. Kim also has been wonderful about responding to questions and checking in with us on Boomer's progress. We are completely happy with Boomer and may even get him a sister in the next year or so. If we do, you can be sure we will go back to Winn Creek Boxers!

We purchased our first Boxer puppy from Ms. Haynes in December of 2009 and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made! "Laila" was just under 14 weeks old at that time and when I chose her, I knew she would be a wonderful addition to our (large) family. When we went to pick her up, I just knew she came from a loving family. I did feel guilty taking her as I saw just how much she was loved. I reassured everyone that she would be well taken care and loved just as much in her new home! Ms. Haynes is a great breeder and has BEAUTIFUL dogs! She loves and cares for all of them until she has found each of them the right home. We keep in contact as I know she enjoys the updates and pictures. She is also more than happy to answer any questions I may have as Laila is not only the first Boxer that I've owned, but the first female dog as well! Laila is almost 1 year old now and is turning out to be an amazing dog! She is loyal and has a great temperament. She is playful and is wonderful with our 5 children and 2 other dogs!

I met Kim online as I was searching for an accredited Boxer Breeder. She was and has been absolutely wonderful! I think that I asked her a million and one questions about Boxers. She never hesitated to answer every last one of them nor did she ever seem frustrated with us. I claimed "Chile" as ours at 5 weeks old I believe so we watched her online and received feedback from Kim up until we brought her home at 7 weeks old. Kim never left our side! "Chile" was a bit of a challenge when we brought her home but nothing we didn't overcome or nothing outside of the Boxer breed. She is now 9 months old weighing 52 lbs and is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. She is very loyal and has such a strong personality.  She has adjusted very well with my 5 yr old Shithzu and now thinks she is his mother. I just could not have asked for a better breed, breeder, and pet. "Chile" is now in advanced pet classes at PetsMart, a step away from the canine good citizen test, and she is doing wonderfully. Although, she is very very easily distracted, she is super smart. And her health is great! I would definitely buy from Kim again if I ever chose to have another Boxer, as well as use her as a referral. There really aren't enough words to say how wonderful Kim is in transitioning her pups with their new home. She is such a passionate Boxer lover and it shows in her breeding. I met Kim Haynes of Winn Creek Boxers at the beginning of 2010, after the loss of my oldest and dearest Boxer. I have been a Boxer lover my whole life, and those are the only dogs I have ever had. After the loss of my oldest and dearest I started searching the web for a replacement (it was going to be hard seeing as to what I was trying to replace). I just knew I was going to have a hard time filling the shoes of what I lost until I met Kim Haynes of Winn Creek Boxers. Once I met her, it came to me that her love of the breed and my love for the breed were exactly the same, and come to find out she was only about 5 miles from where I live. I told Kim what had happened and what I was looking for, and she kept me in mind when one of her female Boxers had a litter of puppies on Mother's Day, May 9, 2010. She called and let me know what she had and I made an appointment to go see the pups, not knowing what I was in for when I got there. Come to find out everything she had told me in past conversations was 100% true, she really loves and cherishes the breed of her Boxers, they are just like her kids (just like mine are). All of her dogs are 100% pure bred Champion bloodlined/pedigreed. The puppies were just remarkable and I would have taken them all if I could have. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a top-of-the-line Boxer to look into Kim Haynes at Winn Creek Boxers, even if you have to drive a little to get there--trust me it is well worth it. After I put my deposit on Tito, she kept us up to date on his progress and even let us come visit him before he was old enough to take to his new home. Like I have said and I will say it again, Kim Haynes at Winn Creek Boxers is a 100% lover of the Boxer breed, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to add a champion bloodlined/high pedigreed boxer to their family. If I was looking to buy one today, I wouldn't hesitate buying from her at all because Tito is just wonderful. He won't replace the one I lost, but he is loved just the same and is a very special part of mine and my son's family.

When I contacted Kim about purchasing a puppy I asked a million and one questions about everything from the parent's temperament, the needs of a Boxer puppy, what to be prepared for with a Boxer puppy, and everything else you could possibly think of as a first time Boxer owner. Kim took the time to answer all my questions and to make sure I was fully aware of the things I needed to know before bringing my puppy home. She was very upfront and honest with me about everything.
